As with previous years, students in this year will be taught to use English to communicate in the modern world. In our final year of this ongoing learning-English-in-English journey, we will continue to speak English in a natural, confident way to express ideas, exchange opinions, and provide information. Focus in the third year will be on proactive learning; being able to apply the skills they already have to finding answers to more challenging English problems independently. This is a four-skills course.

While students will be using Solutions Intermediate (3rd Edition) as the core text for this course, they will also be using a variety of supplementary materials, games, language activities, and pronunciation aids. To improve listening students will be using a variety of independently developed material. Students will also be encouraged to complete self-study materials which include grammar, vocabulary-building, and writing exercises. There will be a new focus on extensive reading this year, so students will be asked to read as many English books as possible.
