到達目標

The goal of this course is to complete your study of Junior High School Chemistry, as well as to systematically prepare and explore important topics that will be found in High School Chemistry. Four areas of university entrance requirements will be covered: reactions, substance concepts, electrical concepts and batteries, and neutralization reactions.

Hands-on Chemistry experiments will be conducted every other week. Systematic logical thinking and scientific literacy will be fostered.

授業の進め方・学習方法

This course is taught through a combination of classes and laboratory experiments. There will be two hours of classes and one hour of labs per week. Lesson materials are based on a translated version of the domestic chemistry textbook.

担当者からのアドバイス

Some of the content on this course approaches university-level material, so don't feel bad if you find something hard to understand. Ask as many questions as you need to ask. Request another explanation from your teacher. See if a friend can explain an idea to you in another way. This will be a challenging course, but by working together and supporting each other you will realize your full potential.
