到達目標

This course is an introduction to international relations. The main goal is to teach you the main methods and most knowledge necessary in order to analyse international events and understand the overall present status of global politics. Class discussions and report writing are essential for this course. Thus, research on the studied topics and reading the news from various and relevant sources outside of class are expected of you. As international relations is a multidisciplinary field of study, the more knowledge of different fields (economy, energy, history, politics, etc.) you accumulate through your readings, the better your understanding and arguments will be.

What we will cover (among others):
1. History of international relations
2. Key concepts and theories of international relations
3. Major issues and challenges in the world (past and current cases)

Class Objectives:
1. Teach you how to analyse cases from various perspectives
2. Grow your knowledge of international events and global issues
3. Improve your academic writing and research skills
4. Develop your critical and logical thinking
