到達目標

This course will strengthen students' understanding of chemistry by building on the concepts they learned in middle school. It will also prepare them to take AP Chemistry in H2.

授業の進め方・学習方法

Most classes will include a teacher-led lecture followed by student discussions and exploration of the concepts introduced. Students will deepen their understanding of chemistry through small projects, worksheets, and regular assessments.

担当者からのアドバイス

-Come prepared to classes: finish readings, watch assigned videos, and complete tasks on time.
-Participate meaningfully: your questions, ideas, and insights are important.
-Be respectful, honest, and kind to others and to yourself as a learner.
-Listen actively and attentively during lessons.
-If something doesn’t make sense, ask! I'm available after school or during lunch to help.
-Review your notes regularly. Chemistry, like all sciences, builds on itself, and old concepts will return!
